Ryan Delaney says the "stature" of Swindon Town was a main driver for his decision to sign for the club.
Delaney became Town's fourth first-team signing of the summer this week, when he put pen to paper on a contract at the County Ground.
The 27-year-old centre-back turned down the option of a new deal at Newport County in favour of a move to Wiltshire.
And he has revealed the motivations for the switch.
