Gavin Gunning will drop any responsibilities relating to Swindon Town’s pathways within his remit as assistant manager.
Gunning has been elevated into the role as Ian Holloway’s deputy, following the departure of Marcus Bignot last month.
In the summer of 2024, following the arrival of Mark Kennedy as head coach, the Irishman had been given the nominal brief of ‘pathways coach’ – a position that in theory included the transition management of Town’s academy players into the first team.
