Swindon Town have received a timely boost, with Michael Olakigbe’s knee injury not as serious as first feared.

Olakigbe limped out of training at Beversbrook on Thursday (March 5), following a challenge with Billy Kirkman.

The winger was unable to bear his weight on the affected leg that afternoon, and there were some initial concerns that he may have sustained a ligament strain.

However, The Moonraker understands Olakigbe was back involved in training on Monday (March 9), and looks to be likely to quickly shake off the after-effects of the issue.
