Ian Holloway has not ruled out a potential contract for trialist Ayman Benarous, despite his brief stint with Swindon Town in the summer ending in injury.
Benarous was among the brightest players during the pre-season friendly win at Forest Green Rovers, but suffered a shoulder problem during the game.
That knock is not expected to keep the midfielder out of action for too long, however, and with Swindon in the market for ball-playing creators, Holloway is keeping his options open.
“Luckily, [the injury] isn't a bad one for him,” Holloway said. “He might be fit within three weeks, so I might have him back in. I like what he was doing out there. We'll soon see.”
