Miguel Freckleton appears likely to return to Sheffield United in January.

The on-loan defender has not featured for Swindon Town since the FA Cup victory over Colchester United last month.

He is currently injured, having picked up an ankle problem during a training-ground friendly against Bristol Rovers several weeks ago.

There is a clause within the arrangement with the Blades which allows for Freckleton's recall to Bramall Lane, but Swindon would also be within their rights to cut the season-long loan short next month.
