Mark Kennedy's tenure as Swindon Town manager is over after just 16 matches.
Kennedy was sacked on Friday (October 25), with Town sitting 22nd in League Two, having managed just two league victories - and three in all competitions - during his brief time in Wiltshire.
His pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Gillingham this weekend, which had been due to take place at Beversbrook, was cancelled by the club's media department at short notice on Thursday morning.
Kennedy is understood to have been at the training ground on Thursday afternoon. Overnight, club figures appear to have been reached a decision to part ways with their head coach.
