Swindon Town will be without captain Ollie Clarke for around three weeks after a scan found the midfielder has torn his hamstring.
Clarke has not featured for Swindon since the 2-1 home defeat by MK Dons. He was forced off in the second half of that match, and spent the remainder of the game icing his right hamstring on the Town bench.
Clarke missed the back-to-back wins at Gillingham and Tranmere Rovers, and will now miss at least four more games following the diagnosis.
While the tear is small, and Clarke is able to run gently at the club’s training ground in Calne, Town will not risk incurring significant damage by rushing him back to more explosive sessions.
