Swindon Town could well be without their standout striker for the weekend clash with Cambridge United in League Two.

Harry Smith almost pulled out of the opening-day fixture at Walsall last Saturday (August 2) and has been struggling with his back since.

He is increasingly unlikely to feature from the start against Cambridge at the County Ground, in what would be a considerable blow to the Town squad.

Smith has missed several training sessions this week and his status was optimistically rated "doubtful" by manager Ian Holloway at his pre-match press conference
