Swindon Town have confirmed the loan signing of Kabongo Tshimanga from Peterborough United.

After more than a month of back-and-forth between Town and Posh, a deal has been struck which will see the 27-year-old striker move to Wiltshire until the end of the season.

Tshimanga had always favoured a switch to Swindon since the possibility emerged, but Peterborough rejected several offers from the Robins for his services.

Instead, the League One side accepted approaches from two National League clubs - one of which The Moonraker understands to be Eastleigh - and owner Darragh MacAnthony made several public references about the situation on his Hard Truth podcast.
