Kaelan Majekodunmi’s international clearance has arrived just in time for Swindon Town’s trip to Northampton this weekend, and the defender could be thrown straight in at the deep end.
Majekodunmi penned a one-year contract with the Robins earlier this month at the end of a successful trial, but he has had a frustrating wait for the move to be signed off.
The international clearance process, which included switching his registration from the jurisdiction of Football Australia to the Football Association, can be lengthy.
And it initially prevented the centre-back from featuring in the EFL Cup clash with Cardiff City last Saturday (August 8).
