Joseph Hungbo needed persuading to travel to Rochdale after concerns about his knee forced Ian Holloway to change his plans for Swindon Town’s starting line-up.

The winger had been due to start Saturday’s 1-0 defeat, but instead began on the bench before replacing Aaron Drinan late in the game.

Holloway revealed the decision was made on Friday morning (October 2), with Hungbo worried about the extent of his problem despite having trained for three days.

“Hungbo was going to start, and he wasn’t even going to come on the trip,” he said.
