Goals and assists are the order of the day for Sean McGurk after the forward put pen to paper on a new contract at Swindon Town.

Robins head of football Jamie Russell has predicted a glut of contributions in the final third from McGurk in 2024/25 after tieing the Irishman to a longer stay in Wiltshire.

McGurk arrived from Leeds United on a short-term deal in January, and impressed in flashes during Swindon's disappointing run-in.

However, he is highly rated by Town, who may deploy him either in a No.10 role behind two central forwards or wide in a front three as Mark Kennedy's new-look squad comes together over the course of the summer.
