James Ball has been passed fit to travel with Swindon Town to Shrewsbury Town, but the Robins have an increasing injury list to deal with in their pursuit of promotion from League Two.
Ball had a scan on a leg problem sustained during the victory at Harrogate Town last week, which has shown no signs of damage, allowing the utility player to be part of the squad at Shrewsbury.
Swindon need as many defensive options as they can get, given the extent of the casualty room at present.
Ryan Tafazolli will miss the trip, having sustained a calf issue against Newport County on Wednesday night (February 11), while Will Wright continues to complain of soreness and sits out the game against the Shrews.
