James Ball faces up to eight weeks on the sidelines through injury, in another blow to Swindon Town.

The midfielder complained of a knee problem after the victory at Oldham Athletic last Saturday (August 16), and missed the defeat by Barnet on Tuesday (August 19).

He subsequently underwent a scan which revealed a minor tear to his posterior cruciate ligament.

Ball is likely to need at least six weeks to make a full recovery, and could be out of action for two months.
