Apre-season injury headache has resulted in the cancellation of Swindon Town academy’s first pre-season outing.

The youth team were due to play a friendly against Highworth Town on Tuesday (July 8).

However, on the morning of the game the non-league side posted on X that Swindon were no longer able to produce a side for the fixture.

Town are understood to have asked to call the game off last Thursday (July 3), given the situation with player availability in the academy.
