Ian Holloway is set to meet with Botan Ameen’s parents this weekend as he tries to encourage the young forward to commit his future to Swindon Town.
The Robins have offered Ameen a senior deal at the County Ground after an impressive scholarship, during which he has broken into the first-team squad.
An initial two-year contract, with an option of a third, is on the table but has yet to be agreed by the player, who is being monitored by a host of teams in the Premier League and Championship.
More than a dozen scouts watched Ameen in action against Cheltenham Town at the County Ground last month, and he continues to be on the radar of several sizable sides as they look to bolster their development ranks.
