Ian Holloway not expected to be under immediate threat as Swindon Town search to recalibrate after miserable month

Holloway will reach his second anniversary in charge later this month, though the matches that come prior to that date, fixtures against Crewe Alexandra, Walsall and Barnet in League Two, will almost certainly have a significant bearing on his reign.

Swindon Town manager Ian Holloway's job is not believed to be in immediate jeopardy, despite recent calls for the Robins to replace him.

A section of supporters has become increasingly vocal about their frustration with the on-field direction of the club over the course of 2026, and a run of three defeats in four matches, and weak away form since Easter, have combined to exacerbate the dissent in the stands in recent days.

At the end of the 1-0 loss at Rochdale on Saturday, there were chants calling for Holloway to go, while comments on social media have been increasingly hostile towards the 63-year-old, who has been in charge at the County Ground for nearly two years.
