Swindon Town have drafted in a sports psychologist to help their players overcome a recent drop in form.

Manager Ian Holloway has called on specialist Dr Claire-Marie Roberts, who previously worked with Town during Richie Wellens' managerial tenure.

He has been prompted to do so following conversations with some of the squad, and a general concern that a sense of nervousness or negativity is starting to impact their preparations.

Roberts has already started working with the group in a consultancy capacity, with the aim of helping the players focus on the task of improving recent results and climbing the League Two table.
