Ryan Tafazolli and Swindon Town face a nervous wait to hear a specialist’s opinion on his fractured elbow before determining whether he can play again this season.

Tafazolli suffered the injury during the home win over Walsall on April 6.

He missed the defeat at Colchester United on Friday (April 10) and has undergone an X-ray, confirming the extent of the damage.

Injuries such as fractured bones in the arm do not necessarily require lengthy absences, depending on their nature.
