Harry Smith is expected to be available for the weekend friendly at Chippenham after missing Swindon Town’s defeat at Reading with a minor injury.

Smith’s name was absent from the teamsheet ahead of the fixture at the Royals’ training ground on Tuesday (July 15), sparking concern from some supporters that he could be the subject of a transfer away from Town.

However, the cause of the absence was much tamer.

Smith has sustained a slight calf problem, and manager Ian Holloway did not want to risk him in another match so soon after the last friendly at Melksham Town on Saturday (July 12).
