Swindon Town have a "Grade A" leader for 2024/25 in the shape of Ollie Clarke, according to head coach Mark Kennedy.

Clarke was confirmed as the club's new captain on Wednesday (August 7), as had been anticipated following his arrival from Mansfield.

The midfielder has plenty of leadership experience from his time at boyhood club Bristol Rovers, and is expected to be a regular presence in the heart of this Swindon side over the coming months.

Clarke has made a significant impression on Kennedy over recent weeks, and the Town boss said his appointment was a result of "his values and his standards, they're grade A, 10 out of 10".
