Swindon Town have made a major commitment to Paul Glatzel by extending his contract at the County Ground by an additional two years.
Glatzel has only just returned to the first-team fray at Town after half a year out through injury, but he made an immediate impression in scoring at Cardiff City last weekend.
However, it is the German's impact all over the pitch which has led Swindon to tie him down for a longer period.
Over his time in Wiltshire, Glatzel has morphed from being an out-and-out number nine into a versatile forward, who can also play in midfield and, occasionally, at wing-back.
