Adam Murphy faces up to two months on the sidelines after suffering ankle ligament damage in training.

Murphy had been due to start for Swindon Town in last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Grimsby Town at the County Ground.

The on-loan Irish under-21 international was set to feature in holding midfield, as reported by The Moonraker this week, but sustained an injury following a training-ground collision on Friday (November 21).

He has subsequently undergone further examination which has confirmed the extent of the problem.
