Aformer Swindon Town goalkeeper could be in line for a return to the County Ground this summer.

The Robins are on the hunt for a deputy for regular starter Connor Ripley, after Jack Bycroft opted to pursue first-team opportunities elsewhere.

And a familiar face has been training with Town this week with a view to a potential contract, The Moonraker understands.

Lewis Ward has been involved in pre-season training at the County Ground and Beversbrook this week, and both parties are open to the possibility of the 28-year-old signing on full-time in Wiltshire.
