Filozofe Mabete sent to Forest Green Rovers on loan on eve of new season

Swindon Town have sent defender Filozofe Mabete off on loan into non-league on the eve of the new season.
Despite being popular among supporters, and having put in several impressive performances for Swindon last term, Mabete has struggled to hold down a regular spot in Ian Holloway's side.
And he will now team up with Forest Green Rovers in the National League, in search of regular gametime and to prove himself in the professional ranks.
Mabete joined Swindon last summer from Wolves, and finished the season with 33 appearances to his name.
