It was anti-climax for Swindon Town on FA Cup third-round draw night, as the Robins’ reward for their sensational win over Bolton Wanderers was as disappointing a tie as was practically possible.

Town’s players, staff and fans were dreaming of a trip to a big Premier League side, the prospect of a giant visiting the County Ground, or at least a local derby.

Instead, it’ll be a trip to Salford City.

The Robins will make the long trek to the north west on the weekend of January 10 and 11.
