Swindon Town are closing in on the signing of a young defender from a Premier League club.
The Robins’ recruitment in the summer transfer window has been accelerating in recent days, as they seek to put together a squad capable of promotion from League Two.
Three arrivals have been confirmed so far – full-back Mitch Clark, central defender Stephan Negru, and midfielder Matty Virtue. And now The Moonraker can reveal the next target who could be walking through the County Ground doors very soon.
Swindon are believed to be in final discussions with Hull City over a move for James Debayo.
