Swindon Town have given a trial outing to a former Cardiff City wing-back during a behind-closed-doors friendly against Reading.
The Robins have largely employed their own players during pre-season fixtures to date.
But a handful of new faces were offered the chance to prove themselves to manager Ian Holloway at Reading’s Bearwood training ground on Tuesday (July 15).
Holloway included four trialists in his squad for this match, one of whom The Moonraker understands to be Raheem Conte.
