Will Wright is expected to be the subject of interest from other EFL clubs in the January transfer window.
Wright joined Swindon Town from Crawley Town in the summer, and has captained the team on several occasions in the absence of Ollie Clarke.
The Moonraker understands MK Dons are a potential suitor. Wright played under Dons head coach Scott Lindsey at Crawley – the pair won promotion from League Two through the playoffs last season.
Crawley could also be interested in bringing the defender back to the Broadfield Stadium.
