Dylan Mitchell has joined Hereford on a short-term loan deal.

The Swindon Town midfielder joined the club from Aston Villa in the summer, and has made five appearances for the Robins, all from the bench.

He has been less involved in matchday squads under Ian Holloway, however, and will now spend at least a month in the National League in an effort to gather gametime.

Hereford have a strong Swindon connection. Paul Caddis, who captained Town to the 2011/12 League Two title, is the head coach, while Adam Rooney is his assistant.
