Swindon Town have confirmed the departure of Darren Oldaker to Southend United.
Oldaker’s exit from the County Ground, for an undisclosed fee, marks the end of an unhappy year in Swindon.
The midfielder joined the Robins last summer following his release by Chesterfield.
He arrived with a reputation as a ball-playing advanced midfielder but was asked to take on a variety of roles by Ian Holloway last term.
