Danny Butterworth has earned a short-term contract at Swindon Town, just months after being released by the Robins.
The midfielder has signed a five-month agreement at the County Ground, initially taking him through until the beginning of February.
It comes after Butterworth trained for a month without pay with Town, in a bid to secure a deal.
Butterworth endured the pain of two hamstring surgeries in quick succession last season, and was told in May he could not be getting an extended run in Wiltshire.
