Could Sean Morrison be the next ex-Swindon Town player targeted in summer recruitment drive?

The former Swindon defender is out of contract and a free agent, and Swindon are understood to be interested in exploring a possible deal. But whether or not the 33-year-old would be lured by a step down two division is uncertain.

Swindon Town could make a bold attempt to sign the club's former centre-back Sean Morrison this summer.

Morrison, 33, is a free agent after leaving Rotherham United following the Millers' relegation to League One.

Having played 27 times for the Yorkshire side in 2023/24, and in the Championship, it seems unlikely that a move down two divisions would be the most enticing prospect.

However, Swindon are understood to be interested in bringing the defender to the County Ground.
