Connor Ripley will not be available for Swindon Town's clash with Port Vale this weekend, after a gentleman's agreement was made between the two teams' managers.

Ripley joined Swindon on a short-term contract on Monday, after his deal at Vale was cancelled by mutual consent.

The goalkeeper was therefore technically eligible to make his debut for Town at the County Ground on Saturday (February 8).

However, Ian Holloway and Darren Moore have come to an arrangement whereby Ripley will sit the match out.
