Clem Morfuni "has taken back" slice of Swindon Town from minority shareholders, says chief executive Anthony Hall

Questioned by BBC Radio Wiltshire this week, Hall used the specific phrase “Clem has now taken those back” when asked what happened to Chris Kiely and Eddie Parladorio’s shareholding.

Clem Morfuni has “taken back” the shareholding in Swindon Town which he offloaded to two other men in 2022, according to club chief executive Anthony Hall.

On Tuesday (March 31), Town claimed in a statement that Morfuni was once again the “sole owner” of the club following a “restructure” of the business’s ownership chain.

The statement said two companies in the chain – Seebeck 87 Ltd and Swinton Reds 20 Ltd – had been removed from the structure, with the club therefore directly owned by Morfuni via its supposed now parent company Axis Football Investments Ltd.

The claims raised substantial questions over what happened to the shareholding held by Chris Kiely and Eddie Parladorio, through their respective partners.
