Clem Morfuni has appointed his son Christian as a non-executive director at Swindon Town.

Morfuni Jnr’s name recently appeared on the EFL’s registry of directors, sparking questions about his role at the club.

The Moonraker approached his father, the Town chairman, for clarification on the appointment early on Monday (February 9).

While that request did not receive a response, Swindon have subsequently published a statement on the matter.
