Fans are seeking answers after chairman Clem Morfuni secured a debenture against Swindon Town Football Club’s assets.

On Good Friday (April 3), paperwork appeared on the Companies House website, showing that Axis Plumbing NSW Group Pty Ltd had raised a charge against the football club, its assets and intellectual property.

Axis Plumbing NSW Group Pty Ltd is one of many Axis entities operating worldwide.

The charge is a debenture: a type of loan. These loans, which give lenders the reassurance of collateral in an agreement, are not unusual.
