Cambridge United head coach confirms pursuit of Harry Smith is over after two bids rejected by Swindon Town

The Moonraker reported last week that Cambridge had cooled their interest in Smith, having seen two bids for the striker rejected by Town. And Harris has now accepted that his attempts to land the mountainous striker are not going to be successful.

Cambridge United head coach Neil Harris has confirmed he has abandoned his pursuit of Harry Smith.

The Moonraker reported last week that Cambridge had cooled their interest in Smith, having seen two bids for the striker rejected by Town.

And Harris has now accepted that his attempts to land the mountainous striker are not going to be successful.

Cambridge made two approaches to Swindon for Smith earlier this month.
