Boost for Swindon Town as Finley Munroe returns to bolster left flank against Tranmere Rovers after ankle issue

The Aston Villa loanee has been perhaps Swindon’s most consistent player over the course of the campaign, steadily growing into his role on the left. He has played more league minutes than any other outfield player in the Robins’ squad, in the league.

Finley Munroe is back in selection contention this weekend, as Swindon Town prepare for a return to League Two action.

Munroe has missed two matches after rolling his ankle in the goalless draw with Colchester United at the County Ground on October 25.

He was always likely to sit out the EFL Trophy visit of West Ham United, but was a big miss for Town at Rotherham United in the FA Cup last time out.

However, the on-loan wing-back has got over the worst of his injury and is back in training.
