Billy Kirkman has joined Weston-super-Mare on a loan deal from Swindon Town.

Kirkman will move to the National League South side until January, in pursuit of regular senior football.

The 20-year-old arrived in Wiltshire early in the summer, but did not formally become a Swindon player until August owing to complexities in an agreement being reached between Town and his former club TNS.

Kirkman has been involved in matchday squads in the month since but has yet to make his first-team debut with the Robins. He was signed as a development prospect, and was not expected to immediately challenge for a 1st XI spot.
