Billy Kirkman and Harrison Minturn take positive step towards comebacks... and we could still see them this season

Kirkman has not been seen in a Town shirt since the 2-0 home win over Barrow on January 18 after suffering a knee ligament sprain, while Minturn's absence has been even longer.

Billy Kirkman and Harrison Minturn could yet return to the Swindon Town matchday squad before the end of the season.

Kirkman has not been seen in a Town shirt since the 2-0 home win over Barrow on January 18 after suffering a knee ligament sprain, while Minturn's absence has been even longer.

The defender last featured for Swindon on December 7, after being diagnosed with a 'Gilmore's Groin' injury.

However, both have now returned to training with the medical team at Beversbrook, and manager Ian Holloway indicated on Friday (March 14) that in a best-case scenario they could be reintegrated into the first-team squad within a fortnight.
