Swindon Town are closing in on the loan signing of an exciting defender from a Premier League club.
After the game against Melksham Town on Saturday (July 12), manager Ian Holloway indicated that a reinforcement was due to arrive with the squad prior to the behind-closed-doors friendly at Reading on Tuesday (July 15).
The Moonraker can now reveal the identity of the player.
Swindon are understood to have agreed a deal in principle with Aston Villa for Finley Munroe, a versatile 20-year-old left-back who could well join up with Town in the coming days.
