Harry Smith has had an anti-inflammatory injection in his troublesome knee as the Swindon Town striker looks to take a step towards a return to full training.
Smith has not featured for Town since August last year, after suffering a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament during a game against Barnet.
Swindon handed the striker a contract extension in the summer, with the initial aspiration of him being available to manager Ian Holloway from late summer or early autumn.
However, while Smith is now mobile, he continues to experience significant pain, which has restricted his rehabilitation and delayed his recovery.
