There are fears of yet another long-term injury casualty at Swindon Town, with striker Ollie Palmer set for a spell on the sidelines.

Palmer suffered a significant ankle injury during the 3-1 victory over Colchester United at the County Ground on September 5.

The forward was absent from the trip to York City on Saturday, and further analysis of the injury has shown a more extensive problem than might first have been envisaged.

Town manager Ian Holloway described how the joint has swollen up considerably after Palmer sustained the problem in the early moments of the match against the Us.
