Swindon Town’s record of disciplinary and regulatory charges in the 2020s has continued with the Football Association seeking to punish the club for the action of its players and staff at Crawley Town.
Multiple individuals from both clubs were involved in an altercation after the final whistle at the Broadfield Stadium last weekend.
Tempers were frayed after the dramatic finish to the match, during which Swindon took the lead in stoppage time only for Crawley to level in the 98th minute.
And the FA have now charged both clubs with failing “to ensure that their players and/or officials did not behave in an improper and/or provocative way following the full-time whistle”.
