Miguel Freckleton has been suffering from an ankle injury, which has prevented him from being available for selection in recent weeks.
Freckleton has not played a minute for Swindon Town since coming off the bench during the 2-1 FA Cup victory over Colchester United at the County Ground last month.
The defender had struggled for form during the early weeks of the season.
Despite receiving the constant backing of former Swindon head coach Mark Kennedy, he had become the focus on a considerable amount of fan discontent.
