Andrew Fitton has told Swindon Town majority shareholder Clem Morfuni he is ready to help his ailing club.

As Town continue to stare down the prospect of relegation from the EFL, and amid rising levels of fan discontent, Fitton believes he has the experience and acumen to stabilise and rebuild.

There is considerable volatility at the County Ground. Two departmental heads left the club on Monday (November 25), while on Tuesday (November 26) a fan protest group, The Spirit of ’69, announced a campaign of action against the current ownership.
