Swindon Borough Council leader Jim Robbins has pledged to keep “the best interests of fans and the town at heart” ahead of crunch meetings with the County Ground Joint Venture.

Last week, it was confirmed that a second vote on stadium redevelopment is unlikely to be put before Trust STFC members until March or April 2026.

That means the project is set to miss the initial deadline outlined within a buyback clause that featured in the purchase agreement struck between the JV and SBC in 2023.
