Swindon Town intend to appeal against Ian Holloway's early red card during the 1-0 victory over Chesterfield.

Holloway was sent to the stands in the ninth minute by referee Charles Breakspear, following an exchange of words near the dugouts.

After the match, Swindon assistant manager Marcus Bignot suggested Breakspear may have misinterpreted Holloway's comments as being aimed at him. The Town boss was dismissed for foul and abusive language.
