Swindon Town wait on FA charges decision as club remain adamant they are in the right over Ollie Clarke situation

The FA applied a deadline of Thursday (January 22) for Swindon to submit their defence against the charge. The Moonraker understands the club lodged their evidence at the start of this week.

The wait is on for Swindon Town as a disciplinary commission considers the club’s representations following their recent FA charges.

Town were accused by the governing body of failing to ensure Ollie Clarke complied with a suspension when selecting him for the EFL Trophy trip to Luton Town earlier this month.

Clarke, meanwhile, faces a similar charge relating to not complying with his ban.
